Nuts to you, Peter Pan.

Nuts to you.

I really do love the 2003 Universal Pictures adaption of that story.
It really is gorgeous.
Ignore, for the moment, all the little symbolistic things that can be analysed and consequently make the story lose much of it's magic.
Just look at it from the surface, or as a friend recently said, take it at face value.

Ok, well, you can't even do that really. Well, I can't 'take it at face value' and describe this in detail because when I try, there's all the little contradictory analytical stuff that threatens the basic simplicity (the themes behind this story are much more than plainly basic really) of Peter Pan.

Really, all that I can really say is, watch Peter Pan, and feel moved at the end of it. And even though the ending encourages you to ponder, that little kid inside of you will ignore that 'hint' and want to go off pirate fighting.

And in the words of my 13-year-old sister, Jeremy Sumpter is 'dreamy..'. xD
